In 1983 I was a student at Davis High School and sat next to my good friend, Matt Clark. At one point we were assigned to draw and paint a dragon, and he drew a couple of different versions. He gave one of his original sketches to me at that time, and I’ve saved it ever since. This is my illustration of his dragon, duplicated as closely as possible. It was drawn using the “simple shapes” method, and finished in traditional media.
